The 3.7 lb R2004 Aluminium Tripod from Sirui is a 4-section support with aluminium constructed tubes and a twist-leg lock system. You can disengage the locks; therefore, the legs are extendable, along with the rapid centre column, to a maximum height of 64.2″. With variable leg angles, you can splay the legs out, so the tripod drops to a minimum height of 15.2″. Even with the low height, the centre column is reversible to get closer to the ground, which is ideal for macrophotography. The unique wing-nut design locks the collar to keep the centre column at its required height, and the tripod folds to a length of 20.7″ to easily transport or store away. The rubber feet retract back to expose the stainless-steel spikes to further stabilize the tripod on icy surfaces or soft terrain.
