Because this setup relies entirely on physical mechanics rather than electronic ports, it preserves the camera’s native 66-foot waterproofing without the need for an external housing. For audio, the system employs a premium four-microphone array capable of recording 32-bit float audio, a technology that prevents digital clipping and eliminates the need for external sound recorders. The entire camera body is wrapped in a lightweight metal cage frame that integrates multiple cold shoe slots, a standard quarter-inch tripod thread, and classic magnetic flip-down mounting fingers for versatile rigging.
