When paired with your smartphone to make hands-free calls, the WH-XB910nc over-ear headphones use Sony’s Precise Voice Pickup technology to ensure your heard loud and clear. This technology consists of two built-in microphones along with integrated audio signal processing.

Supporting multipoint technology, the XB910N headphones can be paired with two different Bluetooth devices simultaneously. This gives you the ability to seamlessly switch between your devices as needed. For example, you can be playing a game on your tablet, and the XB910N will auto-switch to your phone when you get a call. You can also manually switch between the two whenever you want.

Active noise cancellation with the WH-XB910N headphones is not an all-or-nothing proposition. With Adaptive Sound Control, the XB910N can intelligently adjust noise cancellation to suit your environment. As you use it, this feature will recognize the locations that you frequently visit, such as school or your favorite café, and will tailor the sound once you’re there.

When listening to your favorite music, you can enhance it by using the app to select EQ presets that are genre specific. You can even create your own preset to customize playback to your personal preferences. The app also lets you adjust active noise cancellation. Use it to let some ambient sound in, making you more aware of your surroundings without having to completely give up the benefits of noise cancellation.

Built-in buttons let you adjust some settings, but the XB910N headphones can also be controlled with a swipe, touch, or tap. Tap or swipe on the built-in touch panel on the outside of the earcup to adjust the volume, change tracks, or take/make calls. If you need to quickly hear the world around you, you can place your hand over the entire housing to instantly turn down the volume and allow ambient sounds in.

Fast Pair provides you with a host of handy features, first and foremost being the ability to quickly pair the headphones with your compatible Android device. A pop-up will display when the headphones are turned on, letting you pair them with just a tap. Fast Pair also offers a find feature and battery notification. If misplaced, you can ring the headphones or view their last known location on your smartphone, and when the battery is running low, you’ll receive a notification on your phone.

Use Swift Pair to quickly setup and pair with a Windows 10 PC via Bluetooth. When pairing mode is selected, a pop-up will appear on your monitor and provide intuitive pairing guidance.
