Inspired by the 1965 Fujica Single-8 movie camera, this model functions as a digital camera, a smartphone printer, and a video recorder. Its standout feature is the Eras Dial, which allows photographers to cycle through ten distinct visual eras ranging from the 1930s to the 2020s. Each era applies era-specific color grading, film grain, and audio effects to captured media. A tactile lens ring, known as the Degree Control Dial, provides ten levels of intensity for these effects, offering a total of 100 creative combinations to customize the look of every shot.
Beyond still photography, the camera records 15-second video clips that can be shared via a unique QR code printing system. When a frame is printed onto instax mini film, the camera embeds a scanable code that allows viewers to watch the full video and listen to recorded audio on a smartphone. The hardware features a 5-megapixel sensor, a 28mm equivalent f/2.0 lens, and a built-in selfie mirror. To maintain the analog feel, the camera uses a physical “Print Lever” to initiate the printing process. Integrated Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity allow users to print photos directly from their smartphones or use their mobile device as a remote shutter.
